If your old software platform has legacy status, or if you’ve had multiple rounds of staff turnover since you installed your previous system, then you will discover during your conversion work that you data set is not in great shape. You will have records that are old, inaccurate, or just plain messy. But is a software conversion a good time to clean up that data?
